Anna K. Nenonen

Anna Kaarina Nenonen's work is included in many private and public collections in her native Finland including Helsinki City Art Museum. A true cosmopolitan, her numerous one-person and group Shows have taken place in Liechtenstein, Poland, Germany, Estonia, Texas and New York. Nenonen has also participated in performance pieces at Hallwalls Gallery in Buffalo, NY. Nenonen is a figurative painter with a provocative and ironical approach to female sexuality. Combining elements of expressionism and photo-realism, eroticism and intellectualism, her work is ambiguous and thought provoking.
